Pam Martin is in the HOUSE!
Blog Date 9-18-08
Winey Wednesday started a little slow, but once PAM MARTIN, our fabulous artist friend and ceramics goddess, arrived, the wine and the conversation (and the purchases!) started to flow!
Hopefully you were there firsthand to see Pam's creations, but if you weren't, please take some time to stop by. Talk about GREAT Christmas gifts... for the pet-lover, crustacean lover, beach lover or just general happy person... Pam's whimsical and colorful creations are beautiful and a breath of fresh air... especially when winter rolls around and we're in need of some sunshine (be it real or ceramic!) Check out Pam's blog at: www.pamelamartin20four7.blogspot.com or

MARY KAY ANDREWS (need I say more... prolific author, hilarious fellow Sister and junker extraordinaire) was part of the evening as well. MUCH to the surprise of our new SSS friend, Nicole Paul! Nicole had shopped in the store the day before and was delighted to see Mary Kay's books... that, she said, was why she came to Savannah! Nicole had come to Tybee to reinevent herself (can you say "corporate reorganization"?) and to walk in the world of Mary Kay http://www.marykayandrews.com/blog/index.asp . Needless to say, upon meeting her, Nicole was ONE HAPPY CAMPER!
Thanks for coming ladies! We really appreciate your business and friendship! And remember, as winter approaches and things start to slow down a bit..shop on Tybee and SUPPORT OUR LOCAL BUSINESSES!!!!!

Fav authoress, Mary Kay Andrews and new friend, Nicole.
Pam Martin (fabu artiste!), Nicole Paul and Seaside Sister Susan

Nicole's brainchild... the "Sister Down" kit! When one of your girlfriends is having a bad time of it (work, relationship, family strife)... she just issues the "SD" text message... meaning Sister Down... then the kit gets shared with the girlfriend in need. Is this a GREAT idea or what????? Us women are great at "circling the wagons" when things go awry! For info on Nicole she can be reached at Nicole@Journey-Ahead.com or www.journey-ahead.com.
THINK GLOBALLY, SHOP LOCALLY!
WOW - You do a GREAT job with this!!! Can't wait to get there and see the shop myself!
